and I have asked each other more than once as we’ve read each other’s essays and notes on Substack these past few months. So much so that we already felt like we “knew” each other before we ever spoke.

That’s the magic ‘round here, baby!

Substack helps us writers cut away all the nonsensical small talk and helps us find our people, toe-nail biting and pen hoarding notwithstanding…. (I mean, who wants to talk about the weather when you can talk about dancing in a cage?)
