Bless our lady hearts. I mean GAWD! Is it just going to be one long road trip on the struggle bus until the very end? I have an adjacent sun problem recently. My eyes are SO sensitive to the sun. Even on an overcast day, I have to wear sunglasses or it feels like my corneas are burning. I feel like an idiot being the only one sporting my sunnies but a girl's gotta see, ya know?

Wow. That can’t be pleasant. I wonder if they make contacts that help with that.

I can't even imagine all that you have to juggle.

Failing me in soooo many ways, but I know I'm failing it in even greater ways. I HAVE to slow down this summer and take the time I need to work out and eat right. Those are my two big sources of relief, and I don't make the time for them. UUURRRGGGHHH!

P.S. I can't wait for SIS on Thursday! 💃🏽

😈Next question concerns an accompanying allergic reaction to garlic? 😏😇

Noooo! Nevah!!

As a ginger, I don’t have an “allergic” reaction per se, but it’s still not good. Hence my proclivity for hats (I don’t care if the world knows I’m bald, but once the sun found out it was relentless). Probably unrelated to hair color, bright sunlight can make me sneeze; also not an allergy.

I’ll take your word for it. The closest thing I’ve ever had to freckles were mosquito bites. I wonder if those geezer spots (aka barnacles of wisdom) on my broad expanse of naked head would count at this point?

Freckle Face seems a rather limited super power name don’t you think? Better than nothing I suppose. I’ll let myself out.

You try walking around with a stolen soul.

So what about all those souls you carrot tops have stolen because you don’t have souls? Every freckle you have is said to be a soul you’ve stolen in an apparent futile attempt to get one. Also, what did redheads do to the Brit’s to make them come up with this slander? 🤨😁😈

What we do with those souls is none of your business. As for what we did to the Brits, well remember that it’s said the redhead gene got spread by the raping and pillaging Vikings.

I have never heard of this before!

Man, I've got loads of freckles. I must've been busy and I'm not even a redhead!

Be on the alert for further autoimmune issues as you progress through life. I experienced similar sin exposure issues that started in my late teens that continued without doctors having a clue, or any interest really, what the cause might be. A few years after the start of menopause (which started for me at 42), the sun exposure issue got even more intense and was joined by severe joint pain and problems with eye dryness which finally led to a diagnosis of Sjogren's Syndrome and eventually lupus.

I don't know how I feel about your allergy to sun. Having had several skin cancer surgeries I guess I could almost say the same. Except I can wear sunscreen and hope for the best.

Yup they are! And I’m sorry to hear about your allergies!! Sunshine gives me life (as it is snowing and bleak today and I’m trying really hard to find my will to survive)
